SAS won a share of the Independent Conference title for the second year in a row with a big win today versus Friends by a score of 8-4. This win also secures a winning season record of 9-7 and likely secures a spot in the state tournament.

The team was led by it's senior Co-Captains Phil Valliant, Luke Walter and Dan Dittmar. Luke had 4 goals and played the full field with good defense and ground balls. Phil, under the watchful eye of his future college Coach Mike Murphy of Haverford, showed why he can take over games with a combination of goals and assists. Bucky Pierce chipped in 2 goals and Senior Max Dynerman was a big contributor on offense as well.

Dan Dittmar played another strong game in goal and continued to get strong play in front of him by Russell Train at LSM and Ben McDonald, Will McIntosh and Ford Van Fossan all playing well and clearing the ball well.

It was a total team victory enjoyed by all and capped off by a picnic to honor seniors Tyler Willse, Max Dynerman, Luke Walter, Phil Valliant and Dan Dittmar on their last home game.
