Salesianum proved why it is the Number 1 ranked and undefeated team with a dominating 18-2 victory over St. Andrew's. From warmups all the way through the end of the first half when Sallies rested their starters, Sallies proved to be a disciplined, well coached and athletic team. Their stick skills and ball movement were unlike anything SAS has encountered before. The two goal scorers for SAS were Luke Walter and Max Dynerman. The Saints play their last game of the season on Tuesday against Wilmington Friends at St. Andrew's. This game has huge implications for St. Andrew's as with a win they will tie for the conference title with Tower Hill. This game will also have serious implications for a state tournament bid as there are a large bunch of teams fighting for the at large spots in the tournament. The team will need to completely erase the memory of the Sallies game and give their best efforts on Tuesday. Go Saints! |
