St. Andrew's lost a heart breaker on Saturday to Caesar Rodney by a 9-8 score. CR scored with 12 seconds left after a questionable penalty call with 20 seconds remaining left SAS in a man down situation.

Although the team was very disappointed in this loss, there is no doubt that they showed tremedous improvement and played with great enthusiasm.

Senior Luke Walter, looking fully recovered from an early season sickness, had his best game of the season with 5 goals and really controlled play. Other scorers were Taylor White, Jaivon Wesley and Bucky Pierce.

Dan Dittmar had a very strong game in goal with 13 saves and the young defense continued to improve in front of him.

SAS plays the undefeated, Independent Conference leader Tatnall on Tuesday at home.
